Stacking and Storing Ice in the House

Adjustable elevated ramp along the side of ice house - 
one of 14 compartment openings through which 
ice blocks travelled into the building for storage.
Final destination for storage of ice blocks - 
from conveyor to elevated side ramp to compartment 
where sawdust and/or straw was packed around the blocks for insulation.
Southeast corner of ice house - 
railroad track in foreground, ramp and elevator house back left, 
and east side of ice house with elevated side ramp structures.
Shoveling off the tracks - 
the railroad spur along the west side of the ice house (on right) 
with box car used for transport 
and the dining hall building just to the left of it.
